The area is also a great spot for rambling.Several hiking trails begin around the campsite : miles and miles of rolling Limousin hills, just waiting to be discovered! A few hiking suggestions to admire the beauty of our region with the Sauvagnac peak, the breathtaking panorama at the foot of the legendary “pierre branlante” (“rocking stone”). |
If you enjoy mountain-biking,you have come to the right place! There is a mountain-biking and cycling centre (French Cycling Federation - FFC) right by the campsite with its "Bike Park" open to everyone. You will find a whole range of tracks with 700 metre (and above) peaks. There are family-friendly tracks as well as expert level tracks. Discover the area without bringing your bike. We propose mountain bike rental at the reception of the campsite. |
This is a first category lake(approx. 20 hectares ) that originated during the Middle Ages, like many of Limousin’s lakes. It was once owned by the Grandmont monks. It is used for fishing (no swimming) and has a “handipêche” station (adapted for visitors with disabilities) “Le parleur” fishing trail that feeds the lake is also a 1st category trail.
